Hi I'm what-the, I have been using Scratch for awhile now and known about the Scratch website for awhile too. I've recently become a member and would like people to look at the projects that I have made and give feedback on my programming skills, so I can become a better programmer. I've used other computer programming languages before (visual basic and C#) but I find Scratch is the easiest and most enjoyable one to use.

If they have also joined Scratch, you can add freinds by clicking the 'add to freinds' button on there profile. They can also do the same back

Hi, I'm Pasha. I'm making mostly animations to teach kids about Environmental Science and German Language. If you could give me tips on how to scratch, I would appreciate it very much. C:
Scratching can become pretty simple when you learn the basics
I started out by experimenting with the different blocks.
There's also a gallery of tutorial projects which has useful scripts, and if you ever need help in a certain thing, you can ask in the forums ^_^
If you're making animations, then those can be easy to start out with as the scripts are mostly the same eg: change costume, wait 5 sec, and so on.

Thank you for the tutorial, it's a huge help! Do you know any good tutorials on making a simple game? I want to make a game where you can click on a part of the background and the sprite tells information on what you just clicked. Is there a way to do that?

That would be quite easy to make
First, make a background.
Then make a sprite for each thing you want clicking.
Then for each sprite, add this script.
If you want the speach to last a couple of seconds, use.

I'm kinda new to Scratch... Or at least the website. I've been scratching for maybe 6 months, yet I never posted on the forums or anything, so here I am. I was introduced to Scratch at a summer camp where they were teaching programming (using Lego robots) and 2D and 3D animating (using Alice and Scratch). They taught us plenty of things, even though I learned most of it myself.
I created quite a few projects already, generally games and an animation. They haven't attracted many views or anything yet. xD But I think I did well for most of them. They were very fun to design.
So... Hello, Scratchers.

Some of your projects we're actually quite nice, but if you feel you don't have enough views, you can always try the 'show and tell' topic in the forums.
I was introduced to Scratch in an after school club, and I also had to teach it to myself
