Yeah, I think there needs to be a better way to defend your base if you are factionless. Like something to keep doors from opening, or chests. Cause factions against a single user are kind of unfair.
Maybe a rule that indicates factions vs single users are forbidden? And your base has to have a sign indicating the user's name that owns the base so the faction-user can check if the user with the sign is a faction-user as well or not.

But that takes away the free-for-all feel to the ground. Rules aren't supposed to apply here. If you don't want to be in a faction, it's just less protection for you.

But you can't join a faction. If nobody invites you, it's not fair if your house gets ransacked by the hour.

My point is, if you removed the free-for-all style, why not start instituting whatever rules you want?
