Bug at school for logging in.

Well, When I and my friend log in, everything is fine, but when he goes to my profile to play my projects, his login appears as MINE, and he can do everything I CAN DO to my profile, and this only happens while I'm logged in, Any ideas on howto fix?

Re: Bug at school for logging in.

It's because you're connected to the same network. You'll find that if on your computer, you have two tabs open in your web browser, both on Scratch, with one tab with one account and the other tab with another account, then as soon as you change the page or something, it'll automatically switch so that both accounts are the same. I hope that made sense  smile

So would it be the same for two computers??

If they're connected to the same Internet, then yes.

Re: Bug at school for logging in.

I think it's more linked to the browser. Each browser can only allow one Scratcher to be logged in at a time. It has to do with the way browsers use cookies to remember your login.

So if you login with another account on the same web browser, the one you were logged into at first will be logged out.

Re: Bug at school for logging in.

I am having problems with a class when they all try to login to Scracth then each computer on the network logs into the account of the first person to login.  Any suggestions?  Using Windows 7 and mixture of Firefox / IE9.

It's the same problem over here  smile  but I think it's the way the school servers "allow" information to be stored for only one person.

Re: Bug at school for logging in.

I see your point but this doesn't apply to other sites like Edmodo, where pupils can each log in individually.
