Scratch JR!

there should be a scratch JR for little kids about 6 or under no offense if you are 6 or under but I don't think little kids understand computer talk and abs acos and all the calculus trigonometry stuff

It would have blocks like

When the game starts
if the up key is pressed
jump
if the left key is pressed
point to the left
move a little bit
move
move a lot
make line (pen down)
stop making lines (pen up)

Hey there..

Re: Scratch JR!

There really isn't a way to make computer programming more kid friendly than scratch.

If the math block confuse younger users then they probably won't use them anyways.

Re: Scratch JR!

You could have it so scripts can be saved in a library like costumes are so you can add someone elses script to your library.  then someone could create a script called 'jump' and less experienced scratchers who want a jumping script could just look in the library for it.
