They are making R/S/E remakes
Nope.
On a side note, who participated in the Tentaquil event? I just got mine, and boy is it useful.
For those who don't know, Tentaquil is number 650 in the Pokédex. While Game Freak said that there were going to be 3 event Pokémon total(Keledo, Meloetta, and Genesect), they kept Tentaquil a secret. How come people didn't find him already? Because of the way they hid him. Instead of simply putting his data in, they encrypted it and spread its parts throughout the code. The event is more like a patch/unencryption code.
Fun fact, his ID is 652, even though his Pokédex number is 650. Thisis because they didn't want to mess up the egg data (slots 650 and 651).
However, I am worried that his Puke Blood (which he learns at Level 12) move will change the game's rating.
Here's a link to the Sigimouri art. You're probably thinking "oh, that's not Sigimouri! FAKE OLOLLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL," he said that when he was making the art, it was just a doodle. He had no idea it'd be used in-game.
This is fake, in case you didn't notice
I think it's a cool Pokémon.
BTW, post above me is the 151st reply to this thread. pi3 must be Mew.

Replaying Pokemon White, finished my planned team (all at first evolution):
Oshawott
Purrloin (It was the first pokemon i ever got in Black. Yeah, i have both versions.)
Emolga
Axew
Minnicco
ArchenPretty good team I'd say. Maybe teach one of them a fighting move or two?
Yeah. I'm not using Purrloin any more, but i'm using Munna instead.
I just beat the first gym.
Munna is a very good choice, as it has a lot of hp, so it can take hits, and has good special attack once it evolves. Don't evolve it until you have all of the moons you want through leveling. Musharna can't learn any moves by level, only munna.

There is really a move called "Puke Blood"?
It's Tentaquil's signature move.
By the way, this whole thing is fake.

Ok, let's hope Nintendo doesn't read this.
The even I attended was a fan event that had a cracked decryption key. Nintendo didn't want me leaking into, so they sent me a complaint notice. I posted "Oh, this is fake" in hopes of shutting people up. Now that they think It's done, we can discuss Tentaquil.

When I first saw the name "Tentaquil" I thought it was a mix of Tentacool and Cyndaquil.

Tis a shame that it takes so long to learn such a move as splash.

You know how players felt alienated from Gen III because there was no Time Capsule-esque trade? And all because the Link Cables were incompatible.
They could've, you know, released an adapter. They did it with the GB cable not working with the GBP/GBC cable.
Then every Gen could have a Time Capsule. You finally COULD be able to catch 'em all, even if they release 100 more every 2/3 years. It's so simple, I can't believe they didn't do it.

Actually
Gen 2 games used a vastly different system for EV's, happiness, and the like.
Transferring pokemon would be an arduous task on both the developers and the system's part. Converting everything would be hard, and coding the algorithm to do so would be even harder.

Try using a steel Pokemon, they have some good damage and defense, also, from what I know, there isn't any Pokemon which are super-effective against the type.

Um, fighting, ground and fire all do super effective damage against steel.
Animeboy, if you're looking for defense, rock types are good against the third gym. If you're looking for offense, fire types are good. If you're looking for speed, use a flying type.

Perhaps you could get a woobat or roggenrola? They're available pretty early in the game and are very easy to raise.
