You can tell my brother and I like pokemon as when put together, we have:
Pokemon Red
Pokemon Blue
Pokemon Yellow
2 Pokemon Silvers
2 Pokemon Golds
Pokemon Crystal
Pokemon Sapphire
Pokemon Ruby
Pokemon Fire Red
Pokemon Diamond
Pokemon White
Pokemon Black
and Pokemon Black 2
I gave away pearl and platinum, which I regret...

5 years is not nostalgia
Nostalgia is "pleasant childhood feeling being remembered by an adult"
You don't either:
A wistful desire to return in thought or in fact to a former time in one's life, to one's home or homeland, or to one's family and friends.
or...
A sentimental yearning for the happiness of a former place or time.

Anybody but me bother with EV training, natures and competitive things like that? It may seem complicated but it was worth it, just ask my Zangoose that SWEPT A WHOLE TEAM. (yes, all six of them.)
EV training has to be the most effective pokemon training method, (if the most time consuming). I enjoy it quite a lot, considering my success with my own EV trained Zangoose, as well as my EV trained Alakazam.
Also, props to you, HotCocoa28; Zangoose can be one of the most frustrating pokemon to EV train, considering it is essentially a 'glass cannon'. Great work!

You are talking about Toxic Boost Zangoose, correct? Because it's a monster. Took awhile to get one from a hidden grotto and it was male (grottoes lock the gender of the pokemon once it's generated) so I couldn't breed the ability onto others so I could get nigth slash, but shadow claw worked well.
As for EV training, I got 252 attack, 252 speed, and 4 defense. I made it hit fast, and hit hard. It was easy to EV train it because in the first room of victory road, the only two pokemon that appear both give off 2 attack EVs. After getting all of those with a macho brace, I went to equip a power anklet so I'd get 6 speed EVs per basculin. Speaking of basculin, on route 1 in that river area, there is a 100% encounter rate of basculin when surfing. So that's how I EV trained one of my favorite pokemon to use.

I'm not sure if we are on the same page here; I was just referring to Zangoose in general.
What game(s) does most of your EV training take place in? If it is in B2/W2, I don't have either of them.

Yes I EV train in Black 2. Using a toxic boost zangoose (you can only get one from black/white 2) it makes zangoose a real glass cannon because I give him a toxic orb to hold.

That's really cool. I'm assuming you use Facade also? (as if Toxic Boost isn't enough...) That's a really good combo.
One thing you should watch out for: a faster EV trained pokemon like Mienshao. It will (if it hits) mop the floor with just about any Zangoose, among many other Pokemon as well.
As for my EV trained Pokemon, two of my very best would have to be:
Alakazam* @ (I forget)
252 Sp. Atk, 252 Spd, 4 Hp.
Moves:
Psychic
Thunderpunch
Firepunch
Icepunch
Nature: Modest
Shiny? No
* Trained in Pokemon Emerald version, before Attk. and Sp. Attk. moves were in seperate categories. In the newer generations, the elemental punches are awful on Alakazam. But this is in Emerald, so they are awesome.
Shuckle* @ Chesto Berry
252 Def, 252 Sp. Def, 4 Hp.
Moves:
Toxic
Sandstorm
Rollout
Rest
Nature: (I don't remember)
Shiny? Yes
* Trained in and currently in Black Version.

Yes, Facade has a staggering base power of 210. You can pull of the same thing with an Ursaring, but he isn't as fast. I'll give the totals of it here:
Zangoose: Toxic Orb
252 Speed 252 Attack 4 Defense
Nature: Jolly
Moves:
Facade
Close Combat
Shadow Claw
Quick Attack
Shiny: No (I would've use the MM if I found I a female one to pass on the ability)
and this was my first EV trained pokemon: (I actually botched it a bit, but I don't mind because it's defense and sp. defense are equal, and it's attack is high)
Cradily: Leftovers
252 Defense 100 Sp. Defense (something around 150)Attack
Nature: Adamant
Moves:
Recover
Stockpile
Rockslide
Earthquake

It seems sort of weird to have Stockpile, but no Swallow or Spit Up, even though it boosts defenses.
Ahh... yes... I see you have been trained in the ways of the Masuda Method. Have you put it to use yet?

Imagine how much more difficult it would be if you had to pay to use a Pokecenter.
I really shouldn't give Game Freak any ideas...

Well, still, after a while they will need to, as the DS will no longer be selling, but a different system will.

I discovered something probably a lot of you don't know about the games. And it's a pretty cool little thing, too.
So, I was training my Nidoqueen because my Pokemon are extremely untrained, and I talked to it once and it did this little dance and said it found a Shiny leaf. Now I found out if you get 5 shiny leaves on one Pokemon, your rival in new bark town will make them into a leaf crown and put a star on your trainer card. It also has something to do with natures.
More about it that I can't explain here

Nah, it's in the Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSliver part 2 book guide.
I beleive I had one on my Ampharos or Typhlosion.

I don't read guides. I like to figure out things on my own.
Therefore why I don't even touch the Scratch Wiki for my own needs.
