How do you EV train?
If you ever want to do it yourself, I must warn you. An EV trainer spends countless hours hatching eggs to get the right nature, giving their pokemon stat raising meds, (Protein, Carbos, etc) and battling the same wild pokemon over and over again to build up the correct EVs. For more info, look up EV training guides on the internet.

Oh, and one must also remember to count the EVs as they battle.
The maximum EVs that anyone wants is 252. Most pokemon only give one or two in a stat. The process can be shortened by having the pokemon hold items such as the macho brace,(doubles the EVs earned) and getting lucky enough to have Pokerus. (Also doubles EVs). A combination of the two makes for fast EV training.

There is actually a no cheat trick to beat high level pokemon with a team of level one Ratata. My lips are sealed, if anyone wanted to know it.
That's such a clever trick. But phanpy works better. Ice shard can hit ALL types, while quick attack can't hit ghosts. They both go first, too, I believe.

Yeah, I have a Macho Brace Pokerus Cobalion, and I think it has max EVs by now. I have to put it in the PC every night to stop Pokerus from going away, which gets tiring.

OK everyone! It's Pokemon Story Time!
So I was playing SoulSilver Version a couple years ago, and I was fishing in the Lake of Rage. I was fishing for a bunch of Gyrados to fight for some easy EXP. I had been fishing for about an hour, so it was becoming boring fast. I decide that the next fish I reel in is my last. I hook something, and as soon as I saw it I swear my heart stopped.(exaggeration much? XD) My last fish was a Shiny Gold Magikarp!
I caught it with a dive ball, and it now sits in my PC on Black Version.

Actually, what I meant was, nobody was posting at all for like, two days, so I just wanted a reply. I wasn't really refering to the current time, rather than to the activity on this thread in general lately. Yes, I went to sleep like ten minutes after I posted that. Gotta love Summer Break and who late you can stay up, if you choose to. OK, back to PKMN.

Has anybody else realized that Victory Road gets easier with every new game released?
It used to actually be challenging, but now it's way to easy.

Because of this, Heart Gold and Soul Silver had no good place to train to battle Lance's Dragons.
Level Differences:
Victory Road: lv. 30's
Lance: lv. 40's and 50's

Heart Gold and Soul Silver have a very compressed strand of levels from one gym to the other. It makes it really hard in the long run.

A challenging feat is always accepted, in my book.
Speaking of challenges, do any of you have a challenge for me? If so, I might do/try it if you request it.
Guidelines:
It must be POSSIBLE. Easy and possible are two completely different things.
I need a decent explanation of what it is.
It must be on a Pokemon game on a Nintendo gaming system.
That's all.
Maybe I'll make a Youtube series, just to prove I did it.

Well, for example, some challenges are like, get a 49 win-streak on the battle Subway using a team of (insert 3 pokemon here) on the Single Battle Train. Some can be much more grueling,(The Hopip only run) but if you look up 'pokemon challenges' on the internet, maybe you'll find some good ones. Even better, make up your own.

OK guys, before anyone gives me a challenge, here are the nintendo systems I own with pokemon:
Gamecube (Colluseum, XD Gale of Darkness)
Gameboy Advance SP (LeafGreen, Emerald)
DS (Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, SoulSilver, Black)
Wii (Battle Revolution)
I have an emulator on my computer as well, and I can use that for challenges on any Gameboy Color or Gameboy Pokemon game.
