I thought they were pretty good...I read a lot of them to my son when he was young. But trying to read what those moles were saying was a nightmare. Maybe it's easier if you're from the UK
You have a son?
Also, I've heard of these but never read any...

XD I love that part. Have you heard it in the audiobook? It's hilarious.
One of my favorites:
"Glad I ain't young no more - got no energy, young uns today, heeheehee!" - Samolus, after beating Dwink in a race.

I read them all, but I've forgotten what happened in most of them. They were pretty good books in my opinion. I don't have any favorite quotes. Sorry.

I'm reading Salamandastron and I love the part when Hollyberry tells Bremmun that Samkim and Arula were working very very hard and were very sorry for their bad behavior. However, they were actually just eating candied chestnuts and playing board games until bedtime.

That's one of the best books in the series.

Yes! If you want I can write a blurb for you about it.

I read the first one and really enjoyed it. Then I read the badger one, something like Lord Brockheart and I was thinking, 'Get out of your comfort zone!" They got so formulaic, and I just found them like Jacqueline Wilson books (in the way that they'd both found a formula, and neither of them changed it apart from characters). So yeah... I didn't finish it, and I like Redwall (the book), but it just felt boring after a while.
Which is a shame, because I'd like to have been able to geek out over them with one of my friends.
