Ugh those weren't any good

I've read the original Redwall and another book of the series called Mariel of Redwall. 

There were a few Redwall cartoon series for the original Redwall, Mattimeo, and Martin the Warrior, but they're not very accurate in terms of plot. 

ive read some of Martin the Warrior and it was pretty good though i never got to finish

The mole accent just takes a lot of practice.  After you've a read a bunch of the books, it comes pretty smoothly.

No, the way you phrased it was really mean.  It's one thing to say, "I disliked those books" and totally another to say "Ugh those weren't any good".

it's my personal opinion, and those phrases are one in the same, so you do not have to be rude!

Heh, I thought being polite wasn't yelling "THOSE ARE TOTAL TRASH".  Which is basically what you were saying.  I am not trying to be rude.  I am simply pointing out that you were not being at all considerate of others' feelings.

I don't get what you're saying. I'm not yelling whatever stupid slander you said, and you are very much trying to be rude by slapping me in the face with some sort of backwards logic while i just stated an opinion.

They are a bit repetitive, but each has something unique.

uhm, the abbot one, some marsomething one, the one titled redwall, maybe one or two others...

Actually, saying "They're not good" is stating your opinion as a fact

You don't have to directly state you are saying an opinion to say one.

Stating it as a fact creates conflict, it's obvious that it's opinion. One of the ways to bully is to make things sound like fact, when's the last time a bully said "In my opinion, everyone hates you"? Stating an opinion as a fact will make people think you're trying to deny everyone else of their opinion.

I think everyone should get an opinion, but don't complain about people disagreeing when you post something negative in its thread.

I wasn't complaining.  I respect Brett's opinion.  What I don't respect is the way he phrased it.  The phrasing was hurtful to people who actually do like and enjoy these books.
