export as... (a new way to use scratch)

this might get a little complex to make (actually very) basically my idea is to add a feature that if a sprite or background contains no scripts then it will allow you to export sprites as GIF images, even better, if you have a sprite with say 10 costumes it will form that sprite into a GIF with several layers so it creates the motion you see in some images, yes its very complex, but it would be pretty kool to use

You can already export sprite costumes though. I don't think putting in the ability to export animated gifs is very useful.

To export a sprite right+click (ctrl+click on Mac) on the costume picture (inside the costumes tab) and select "export"

Here is a quick tutorial I threw together to illustrate:

This will save the costume as a GIF.

Sorry, no easy way to form several of those into an animated GIF outside of Scratch
