Twist Endings :D

Write a story with the most epicest twist ending you can. I'll start

Jack sat in the car as it steadily approached the government compound his father worked at, the spaceship that would carry him away from his friends, his home, his life. He saw the barbed wire fence arise from the fog in the distance that signaled the first stage of the compound's security perimiters.

"Jack, you and Margie stay in the car," he said, gesturing to him and his little sister. "I'll only be a second." He exited the car, and Jack saw a suspicious L-shaped bulge in the pocket of his father's trench coat.

From outside there came a muffled bang, a yell, another bang, and silence. Grimly, his father got back in the car and continued on. Jack looked at the clock. 11:47. Thirteen minutes until the entire world would detonate.

"Up at this next security post, I have a coworker inside waiting to help us past security." The car rolled to s stop inches from the fence, and there came three flashes of light that Jack assumed was from his father's coworker.

In return, his father gave five flashes from the headlights.

A man appeared on the other side of the fence, gesturing at a spot on the ground. Jack's father left the car, gesturing for Jack and Margie to follow. At the spot where the man was standing there was a hole in the ground just big enough to fit through.

They crawled through it under the fence.

The spacecraft was just ahead.

Four minutes until detonation.

Jack's family and the family of his father's coworker piled into the craft and blasted off.

"It's amazing that there's another planet out there with people just like us, huh, kids?" asked thier father.

"What's the name of the planet again?" asked Margie.

"Earth."

Re: Twist Endings :D

That is no twist ending.

It could be very likely that aliens believe they are also exclusively alone in the Universe.

Re: Twist Endings :D

Once upon a time, there was a cat.

He loved everyone.

Then, everyone decided to hold an event where they punched the cat in the face ALL AT THE SAME TIME.

Then, they held the event.

The cat was not happy.

So it turned into a giant monster and killed everybody.

THE END

Sorry - but this looks more like a Text-Based game than something that belongs here.  I suggest that you relocate over there.
