Probably Mockingjay, but Where The Red Fern Grows is pretty sad too. Its more for younger kids though.
Well if you wanted honesty, that's all you had to say. I never want to let you down or have you go, it's better off this way.

BTW, the saddest book I read so far was probably Eragon. I don't usually cry when characters die in books, but I almost did. Closest I've ever come.

Have you read Born to Run? No-one dies, but it is sad how they are going to shut down the nursing home.
