I'm never good at this, but I'm starting to write a story. Don't know what it'll be, but I'll also be making an adventure map to go with it (minecraft). I've already started on the map. Here's the city centerpeice (I'll rebuild it in a randomly generated world, not the flatland the pics are in)

I'll need some ideas. For both.

The story takes place in an abandoned ancient city. The city is inhabited by these strange beings. And they want you out. Now.

Try to survive their many tests, and you may become one of them. If not, your memory is whiped and they drop you in the middle of nowhere.

I don't understand this world. All around me, people walk around the busy streets, pushing and shoving past each other. There's something unnatural about their faces, though.

From afar, it seems that they are simply smiling, with a wide grin, exposing shiny white teeth. All of their faces looked the same, with that grin. I did not understand what had made them so happy, seeing as they were living in a place with no diversity.

But when I bumped into one, I looked up at his face, and then saw the horrifying truth. Two long metal hooks extending from the back of the tall man's head were forcing his mouth open, forming it into a smile. His eyes, however, did not share the same expression. They looked worried and saddened, and I could've sworn that I saw a tear form at the corner of his eye.

He said something through his gritted teeth, which sounded vaguely like "HELP ME."

I slowly backed away, but bumped again into another man. I turned around and found that it wasn't one, but two, of the smiling men. Their smiles were also forced by the metal prongs, but their eyes were bright with joy. They also wore long white coats.

I looked around me, seeing everyone with the horrible forced smiles.

The two lab-coated men stared down at me. And then, one of them pressed a damp handkerchief to my face, and everything went black.

From then on, I was smiling.
