Never heard of it. I prefer Scratch or ROBLOX. Anything else just lags my computer.
PS I'm always this projects owner and boss. So please don't start thinking of it as your own project. It's really upsetting.

Sorry! Please do remember that this is also a COLLAB, we are not your mere workers but your team members. You are not our boss but our leader. We have the right to get the game moving when nothing is happening, as we have come up with a lot of ideas to get the game moving. You only put YOUR name on the introduction which also was upsetting, I didn't care that mine wasn't on it because back when you made it, I wasn't fussed about getting involved, but you should have included everyone else's names on the intro. Another thing about the Creative Commons license is no one owns a game, and if I'm being honest, this wasn't a very unique idea, and if it wasn't for the 3D additions then this would actually be a copy of all the other Zelda games on scratch, so in theory you don't own Zelda or Nintendo or this game. We will help you, but please understand that collaborations are about teamwork, not just having a game with your name on it that loads of other people collaborated on.

I'm sorry. I'm being a jerk again.
Anyway, I'm probably gonna sell this project if not enough progress gets done. Anyways, I guess I'm leader, so I'm sorry for not including other names in the intro.
Once again, sorry, so please forgive me.

Sorry for looking like I was taking over! And soon I'll be uploading the first 3D sword fighting level, and hopefully FINGIN shouldn't need too many more nights on perfecting Tutorial Island. You and FINGIN could work together on Tutorial Island, I'll stick to the 3D stuff because I'm the only one who can do that. I think we might have agreed that it's a tropical island called Mokriki Island, but we still need to discus it as a team.

I haven't done much progress with this since my last post...........
I have done the scripts but I haven't done or added any sprites whatsover, I'll post what ive done so far but it has no proper collision, as soon as I get sprites or something ill finish of the script.... but it is +/- halfway done.... it will probably be done with in the next week or so..........

Offline
1. Sprites They CAN be used!
2. Mokriki Island is the first place, if you want me to I'll design the story for the rest of the islands. For now, get the first island done.
3. You need the save mode to work, so as soon as you've finished Island 1, I'll adjust the scripts and import it with the introduction. I'll also add music because I have a HUGE library of music.
4. Finishing touches, like sound effects, addition of inventory, plus glitch hunting can be given to a third person. If we do this for each level, with the odd occasion of me taking it to adding 3D parts, then the game can systematically be done very quickly. However, this means we need three people, so because stage 2 (designing levels) is a big step, other people should help FINGIN out.
Agreed?

agreed. I have replaced most of the scripts and just finishing collision and fixing a few minor glitches. It's just a bunch of circles and squares for sprites but as soon as I get proper sprites ill replace them.
Those are SPRITE SHEETS not actual sprites
Ill have to animate them myself then.. meanwhile just expect the scripts to be uploaded soon...
mabye jakeema can start island 2?
What exactly will happen at island 2?
Must I add combat to tutorial island??
Jakeema..... you know anything about collision cause I'm having a few problems
basically the method i was doing has 4 sensors around the player. but then I realized
since its scrolling the player doesn't actually move around. So i'm just kinda of self figuring it out but I could use some support with collision
what i have done already:
Scrolling map
Ability to walk
Ability to talk to NPC by touching him(can change to other method of talking)
A block in which I'm attempting to add collision
Note. as I said above none of these objects and such have their proper sprites and are just squares and circles. a few bugs left... but non are really noticeable.
Walking is quite fast so maybe i'll slow it down a bit.
Minor bugs, Collision and proper sprites(not sprite sheets) is all I need to finish.

Maybe I should do a test level which has an example of:
+Edited Sprites using sheets from that website
+2D Fighting
+Anything else you need reassuring
We need to see our level of programming skills before we design further islands, so for now we should stick to this first island and test demo

Please read my previous post as I have edited it and added more info. Do you mean animated sprites or just graphically edited sheets? if you mean animated then yes please do.
So I guess thats a yes for combat as i'll start working on that.
Shouldn't take to long. When i've done collision and combat ill post the project. Soon............ I can do combat alone but Jakeema or your help will speed its production up. Expect it in the next week or so. If you have your own idea for what combat should be post the scripts somewhere or post the scratch blocks. I can do it alone but I'm just making sure there was no unique idea of exact combat formula. There could be some problems when connecting the projects such as the intro and tutorial island. Such as if I made a health variable and it was already in the intro it could effect everything. Have you made progress on the 3D tutorial yet?

Offline
The tests work perfectly, but I can't implement anything without level 1 being added first. There are no health variables yet, or anything of the sort, and maybe we should both try out 2D combat, and whoever makes the best TEST project has their version used in the game. So, I will get loads of sprite sheets, then edit them so that they can be used in-game. Until I upload them, you cannot do anything because you won't have any sprites to work with. I'll use Photoshop to enhance them at the same time.
Quick-List:
1. I edit sprite sheets
2. WE use sprites to make TEST_COMBAT projects
3. Best one is used
4. YOU make and finish level 1
5. I will download level 1, implement fighting, save mode and the introduction to it
6. I will upload the finished first level, and we decide what to do next

what?
im confused
..............................
your done with the 3D tests?
dude. you agreed to do 3D and i agreed to do 2D do go interfering with it. Ok so lets have a contest to see who can make a better 3D project, I mean come-one. What do you mean by level one? I can work on scripts without sprites. I don't want any edited sprite sheets only animated sprites.
You stick with your 3D combat and I stick to my 2D combat.
Level 1 isn't tutorial island is it?
I just started working on the combat and you says you make one and we see which is better.... waste of time. Why not just use that time to do your 3D combat??
what exactly will level 1-2 be?
i've started combat but it doesn't look great because I need sprites (not sprite sheets!!!)

Sorry! i do get "controllative" sometimes. well, most times. you get on with that and i promise to never visit this thread again until you post a message on one of my projects saying "ready" n i'll give you the 3D stuff then go until you need another 3D thing. Just message me your requests n i'll get on with it. Cya

I am getting confused myself.
I think Island 2 should be called Oldot Island, home of Oldot Forest. There, Link finds out about Grolig, and about the Forest Temple. Link must be an Adult to open up the Door of Forest to get in.
Sound good?

Listen Carefully!
A sprite is an image. Even if you made a fully animated sprite on a sprite-making software, it would come out as an image in Scratch. So even with a sprite, NOT A SPRITE SHEET, you would have to animate it. So, USE SPRITE SHEETS! I know you don't want to, but all you have to do, or even I could do it for you, is crop each image out of it, then animate them in scratch. A SPRITE IS A SPRITE SHEET but the latter has multiple sprites on the single sheet.
Also, I'll help you with collision
