Re: Popularity

I don't think this would fit in Show and Tell. Show and Tell is for telling people about your projects.

Anyways, you work hard. Oh wait, most stuff on the front page takes 5 seconds to make. :I

Ah...That's better!  wink  Anyway, to get more popularity, you have to work for it. Really, you can make good projects, and then advertise. Advertising is key to getting you those first views. Also, there are some people here that open up critic shops to review peoples projects. You can ask someone that is doing that. If they like it, who knows? Maybe they might be curator, and curate your project! Ask for your project to be curated, and if the curator likes it, it gets front-paged! Also, you can just wait, and keep spitting out good projects! If it is really good, maybe someone from the Scratch Team can feature it! Good luck! Also, popularity isn't everything. Some people become focused on only getting famous. it's great to have a goal, but make sure your work has a purpose. Here is the Cycle:

when gf clicked
repeat until <Hard work pays off>
Make good projects!
Advertise in Show and Tell, or to a friend!
Look for Critic Reviewers, and ask them for reviews!
Ask for it to be curated!
Maybe get curated; if not, just keep putting out great projects. Your work is going to be front-paged someday, if you keep following these steps!

Re: Popularity

Basically, be really active on the forums. No one's gonna check out your stuff if they don't know about you. That's probably the only reason why I'm semi-famous (well, kind of, anyway  tongue ), because I post about 100 times a day, so loads of people click my name.
