Those are really beautiful pictures.

Once we got this really strange snow phenomenon where blades of grass were surrounded by around a one-inch thick layer of ice. I'm still curious about that, feel free to enlighten me.
@Chrischb: Am I missing an inside joke about your constant rants about the weather?

Well, Chris lives in New Zealand, and so it's summer now for him down there...

Did it flood during the day and freeze during the night?

Nice overweight cat hanging onto a plank of wood.
And artistic pictures of your camera parts . . .

That cat is SO overweight.
Personally, my favourite is the first one of the buds.

I liked the ones of berries and plants and stuff...
The camera ones were a bit blurred...
What lens did you use? Looks like you have a pentax camera?

Yeah, the camera ones were blurry because our camera hardly works inside, and the lighting wasn't too great.
We have 5 (!) lenses right now, but I mostly used a 49mm lens, an 18-55mm lens, and a 28mm lens for those pictures.

Cool!
Is Pentax a good camera brand? I might upgrade to a SLR soon and I'm juggling between Nikon, Canon and Pentax

I like PENTAX a lot, but I've never used the other brands, so I don't know.

It's called Glaze Ice. It happens when it's raining or something, then the tempature suddenly drops below freezing. Here's an image reference.
@coolstuff- What camera do you use?

A PENTAX K100D.
That wasn't meant to be all caps. But it ended up as such, oddly enough, just because of the branding.

Same. At first I was looking at Canons, but now I'm considering PENTAX.
EDIT: PENTAX is expensive!!! One of the lower models was 400$!! Uh, Canon or Nikon now.
@coolstuff (again)
Is your PENTAX model recent or is it old?
I'm guessing it's an old model.

It's pretty old. I think the model I have was released in 2006.
With SLR cameras, you're pretty much guaranteed a price over $500, no matter what brand.

I have the rebel T3.
Got it for 450$ at Christmas,
Normal price is around 550$
It's great, but the included lens doesn't zoom that much, even though it is 18-55mm on a crop sensor (~24 to 70 equivalent)
That's why im saving for a 55-250mm
(that's 200-250 $, but with IS!!!)
