Skratchrim

Ok, so I was thinking of designing a game based on Skyrim, but called Skratchrim. I think that if I were to get enough experienced sprites and programmers to work with me, things would be possible. So, I'm in need of about three EXPERIENCED spriters, and three EXPERIENCED scripters to work with me.

Spriters:

Please post a link to an example of your BEST spriting projects.

Scripters:

Re: Skratchrim

Spriter, please.

I've done a few, and I could upload them.

Really, the project was just a place to store my pixel art in one place.

Re: Skratchrim

Does everyone want to join Blue Bird productions and we could make it a project for us? And we could delete this topic and put it on the blue bird forum?

Re: Skratchrim

Those are both good ideas. Even with experienced Scratchers, this project would be difficult. Who would upload the final project though? I was thinking me, because I came up with the idea ;D

Re: Skratchrim

First off, have you planned this out at all? Skyrim is a very complex game and it underwent huge planning proccesses before even being programmed, you need to make tiers, maps, anything which will help you get an idea of what you want in it.

My best scripting project would probably be Scrollgen.

I don't think it'll be extremely hard to program, that is, if it's not 3D.  tongue

I'm not saying the coding will be hard, but have you seen the amount of items, quests, etc in Skyrim and how they all lock into eachother? If anybody is making an RPG of any sort I'd suggest that they plan like mad first.
