Haven't played it, although since I've got a Wii, I might play it some time.

I bought OoT on the Wii Shop Channel. And though I'm risking sounding sarcastic right now, it was a great use of 1,000 Wii Points.
Right now I'm in Dodongo's Cavern. I got the Keaton Mask, bought I gave it away to that guard at Kakariko Village, Hylian Shield (my Kokiri Shield burnt away in the lava ), and Kokiri Sword.
I got quite a ways to go. XD
I'm sorry, this is rather off topic- What ARE Wii points? I recently got a Wii, so...

If I'm guessing right, probably the original and ALTTP.Skyward Sword might be in there, too, somewhere.
1. skyward sword
2. twilight princess
3. ocarina of time
4. original
i like all the other ones the same

Eh, MM is actually the better game in terms of story and plot, not to mention general uniqueness.

I've beaten it twice. Best game ever.

Congrats on beating the main game!I used a bazillion Sheikah Stone visions...
So did I (the sheikah stone, NOT the master quest(I have Ocarina of time 3d for my 3ds and I'm in Jabu-Jabu's belly)).
I am now on the water temple and I refuse to play it until I have found it(of course) and I have a walkthrough right in front of my face

Beat it a while back on 3DS, but I lost the game card. Oh well.
BTW, if you want a ton of Rupees free, go into the door to the right when you first cross the drawbridge to Hyrule Castle Town. Then, smash all the pots inside.

Oh, cool. I have the 3DS version, too. I forgot where to get the chicken to wake the milkman up around Zelda's Castle.
Malon gives it to you before you climb up the vines to avoid the gate
Oh, yeah! Thanks.
you're welcome

Doing that is my last memory of playing on the N64.

I disagree. While Majora's Mask is brilliant, all it really had in it's favor was a superior story (best of the Zelda series, IMO) and characters. Ocarina of Time was much more fun, as well as being much more groundbreaking. And it didn't have a 3-day time limit. Zelda games are all about exploring at your will, and it's hard to do that with so much pressure. The 3-day time limit just seemed like a poor design choice, especially since the game has so many side-quests and things to see.

That wasn't so much a bad design choice as it was an encouragement for time management. Though I can understand why it could be a potential turnoff, I saw it as an element of depth. It's the end of the world. There's so much you wish you could've done, but you only have a measly 72 hours to do so. A bit of a depressing element. However, you have the power to rewrite history to do things differently. It makes you feel like nothing ever happened. It makes you feel pity for the Terminians.
My favorite area of the game is Ikana Canyon. It's vague backstory and macabre atmosphere make you feel alone in a dead world, which you pretty much are in that area. The game also subliminally deals with more mature themes other Zelda games wouldn't even touch. It leaves a great impact on anyone who plays it.

Why do people compare it to MM? The 2 are VERY different games.
