News Flash!
Because of the confusion with the forum title here (Things I'm Reading and Playing) and the "Playing" of sports, we've decided to move all sports topics over to here, regardless of whether you are watching or participating in them.  Hopefully that will make things a bit more clear-cut and easier to understand.

If you're involved directly in it then it goes in MaC, if you're not directly involved in it then it goes here (e.g. watching basketball would go in RaP, playing would go in MaC)

Yeah, wait until I post an explaination of the old rules then change them, boy do I wish new scratchers could edit posts.

Because I don't like My chemical romance anymore, the name was too long and it was hard to label anything with my username because it was also the name of a band. I never knew how many "security" mechanics were in place for newbies because I quit Scratch for 2 months as soon as I put up a few games.

Liru is a short and sweet name, the only downside is that people can't google it on images or otherwise to find stuff by me, which I don't mind.

Ah, okay.

I managed to leave MCR at 2012 posts though, which wasn't done purposely but it's nice either way.

So, are we meant to ask questions about this forum or discuss what should be changed? It's quite unclear.

I miss the old misc. It was the best part of these forums. Who cares if it shows up in the new posts feed? It was awesome.

Why don't we just delete the ENTIRE FORUMS and have people discuss things in project comments? It would help users focus more on programming with Scratch rather than talking about stuff.

Re: Discuss the Policies of This Forum

The problems proposed by the "Infinite Project Budget" are many, such as:
*I like to quality control, and most of my projects are games as that is what I like to share, even if I like to discuss elsewhere
*People will not see that project as much as they would see my glorious topic, if I consider my previous view-count history
*Making a new account for this would not circumvent my want for quality control as they would be less noticed under a new name, and I would feel spammy with all the Show&Tell topics of no particularly good use, though the discussion could be if allowed in the forums. (E.g. Advertising projects about opinions on food seems to me worse than making a topic about food opinions as it cuts out the Show and Tell middleman)
*We can't have the longer and more serious posts (quite like this one) under a 500 word limit. Even with the ability to post more replies to continue, that could become confusing and time-wasting.
*Does a topic about Food Opinion, for example, have more need for moderation than a project of the same thing?

I'm glad to think that the community will always be kind and helpful, the language will always be a fun and easy way to be introduced into programming, the motto will always be: Imagine, Program, Share - Nomolos

Maybe we should just delete the internet because it's so distracting man.

They said they deleted misc because it was hard to moderate, now it seems that they have to put in more effort into moderating projects, it's a weird idea.
