I think HL2 Ep. 3 might ACTUALLY include Chell.
WHICH WOULD ALSO COUNT AS A PORTAL 3.
HALF PORTAL 2 EPISODE 3.

I just thought of something, you know how the adventure core is always flirting with Chell? What if Chell's boyfriend was the adventure core!

I guess this fits in this topic.
You know how in Portal 2, there are pop-ups that tell you what to do? Like for example, one might say "E to pull lever".
Well those aren't popping up. I already know how to play the game, so I don't really need those, but I was just wondering why those weren't popping up. Anyone know why that's happening?

Dunno, it's like why my audio is delayed.

Ok. She has said that twice in her lifetime though. Portal 1 or 2?

I just finished it yesterday. It was waaay longer than portal. What's with people saying it's short? The story line was great, and hilarious.

If you're decent with puzzle games you can beat it in a single sitting.
And yes, it does have good humor. Did you expect any less from valve?
also, FUN FACT: A brick joke was left hanging in portal 2. In one of cave's unused recorded messages, he said something along the lines of "by the way, do we have a wing made entirely of glass yet? Get on it." Think back a little, and you'll remember glados saying "now i have to pick up 5 square acres of broken glass shards from the wing that was made entirely of glass."

I could have got it done in two sittings if I had played for 10 hours.

I think it took me like, 54 hours to finish.

But anyway, possible busting of the Chell/GLaDOS' daughter theory!
Okay, so the theorie that GLaDOS/Caroline is Chell's mother may have a major hole in it.
Facts:
the first set of Old Aperture test chambers were from the 1940s
presumably, Cave Johnson died directly after the time period of the last set of O.A. test chambers, in the 1970s, or maybe 1980s
Cave wanted Caroline to be put into control of the company after he died
Caroline had her brain scanned and purt into GLaDOS' personality
GLaDOS was activated in 1998, the same day as "take your daughter to work" day.
Chell was at aforesaid day/event (she had a science project there)
Judging by the... "simpleness" of Chell's project, she was between 6-10 years old
Because of the above statement, Chell was born around 1990
Portal takes place in 2010, putting Chell between 18-22 years old
Caroline could only have given birth if she had a human body
Caroline's body was destroyed after she was put into GLaDOS
Caroline would have had to give birth, or for that matter, adopt, in the 1970s-1980s
Again, Chell was born around 1990
see? I know my theory has some holes in it, but it seems more likely than not, right?
The first ever sets of tests were actually in the 50s.
I died 1989.
GLaDOS was activated in 2001.
Caroline was first installed into GLaDOS in 1998.
Chell was 11 on Bring Your Daughter to Work day.
Portal takes place in 2007.

This page says that Aperture has atleast two locatations.
The main one (Enrichment Center) is in Upper Michigan and the other in Cleveland, Ohio. Huh.

Highly unlikely, because of the time span between Portal 1 (which took place at a time NEAR HL2) and Portal 2 which is like the announcer states 99999... 9 days, suggesting something over 27,000 years. Do you think Gordon would be... wait for it... Still alive? OK, I'll stop.

Actually I just did the math, it's around 2,700 years actually
That, or it just broke and reset to a bunch of 9s

Everything in aperture is all broken
so is the announcer guy who announces such blasphemy!

Not true. Here is a quote from a Portal cheats website containing evidence disproving your theory.
"...Chell is awakened again, and informed that she has been in stasis for "9. 9. 9. 9. 9. pause 9. 9." This implies that centuries, perhaps millennia have elapsed since the events of Portal however, most likely it has been only 10 or so years and the computer is malfunctioning. Since it is implied the facility runs on nuclear power, it's unlikely more than a few years have passed (considering the average life of a nuclear reactor is 40-60 years) and that the general decay of the facility and lack of maintenance has damaged the reactor's systems, leading to a meltdown."

Also, it's stated that the events of Portal 2 happened during the events of HL2. This could mean that either your theory is true, or, Portal and Half Life were far apart from each other.

I've finished the 2nd game and on my way to beat the first!! Also last summer the best thing happened to me at San-Japan (San Antonio Videogame/Manga/Webcomic convention) last summer! I got to met Ellen McClain (GLaDOS) and John Patrick Lowrie (Sniper in Team Fortress 2)!!!!! Ellen's REALLY nice and truly does love her fans. She's one of the nicest people I have ever met!
