Well then this isn't Scratch related  hmm  I'm not sure, but you may be allowed to post this is the "What I'm making and creating" forum instead. After all, you're making a screen saver  wink

Re: screen saver

Program it in BYOB, then compile it. It works OK as a screensaver, but then it won't close when you move the mouse (you need to hit a button). You need to get someone to code this block for you.

No offence, but we can't help you if we can't understand your typing. Could you please try to use proper grammer and spelling?

Yes, and your (not you, but the topic creator) writing style makes it seem like you're rushing.

So let us get this straight. You want to make a screensaver for your actual computer with scratch?

Tried that approach, the user seems to believe BYOB is Build your own bear and refuses to use it. S/He also claims the topic is unhelpful from what I understood.

Re: screen saver

Chirp (made by Jens) made it so it runs any Scratch project in the Scratch-Projects folder as a screen-saver.

Chirp Site wrote:

Setting up the Chirp screensaver

The Windows installer adds a screensaver named "Chirp" to the list of available screensavers, which can be activated in the Windows control panel. It will run a random project from the Scratch-projects folder each time it runs.

Though Chirp seems to have been discontinued and has been replaced with BYOB. But hopefully this will get you on the right track.  smile

Ohh, there are no scripts/blocks that you can use to run a screen-saver. It's just the default Scratch Blocks you use to create an animation and then you select Chirp as the screen-saver and then Chirp will pick a random project in the Scratch Projects folder and run it.

So there aren't actually any blocks or scripts you can use to create a screen-saver.

I don't think you can make a screen-saver in BYOB.

Re: screen saver

Don't you just export to exe and change it to scr?

And if youre asking for help, you should accept the answers people give you cause we are helping. I'm pretty sure you didn't read the guides because the guides would have gotten you a screensaver by now. And btw, only the guide posts are supposed to be helpful. Just like how you look at a project, you don't say "the comments are so boring" but you pay attention to the project.
