Classic Video Games

I love the old video games. True, they don't beat xbox's or minecrafts, but they are still pretty neat. All games/systems discussed in here, must have been made in 2000 or before to be considered 'classics'. If you don't know where to start, try starting with what I have below.

I have a:
Super Nintendo
Nintendo 64
ps2 (Came out in 2000, so it's (By what I said) a classic)
clekovision
Atari (Several, but I forget which ones. I'll check at some point)
Sega Genesis
and I think I may have one more.

My Favorite Game System: SNES

My Favorite Game: Donkey Kong Country for SNES. I know most (If not all) of the secret places! (Discuss the secrets of Donkey Kong Country, if you think you know them all!)

Game System I want: There's this three in one game system that would be nice to have.

I also LOVE emulators. You can talk about 'classic' emulators here as well  big_smile

Re: Classic Video Games

wouldn't this go in the official topic for video games
I hate to say that

Nah. That came out in 2001.

The PS2 is considered a classic by the creator, and that was made only a year earlier.

Nintendo 64's my favourite. I've never had one though, I only got to play when I went round my uncle's house. He's sold it now ;_;

Re: Classic Video Games

My dad has a PS2, but he never lets me play it anymore... I do have emulators for arcade games, Super Nintendo, PS1, PS2, Nintendo 64, Sega Genesis, Master System, Game Gear, and Sega CD.

Favorite System: Sega Genesis or Sega CD.

Favorite Game: Sonic CD. Now that's a classic.

You know what, you just reminded me of the Game Gear. Now I have to decide between that, and snes. That was my favorite, but I wanted a Game Boy Advanced. My dad made me trade the Game Gear for the Game Boy. That's one trade I'll always regret.

Re: Classic Video Games

You don't need it, but it would make the game a lot funner and easier to play. I wish funner was a word.   tongue
