I think eggs might hatch into a normal hatchling if you give them a lot of views right when they have 0 days and 0 hours left.

Wait until they have 25 minutes left.

Mine had a large crack at that point.

When it turns, it gains 10 minutes (proven) and has a better chance of turning (not proven, but sources point to yes)
