Re: Doctor Who Official Thread

The Impossible Astronaut is free for the time being on iTunes, so I bought it...

It somehow took 2 1/2 hours to buy (it said it was downloading, but it didn't show up), so once I had bought it, I of course had to wait another hour and a half to watch it. It was worth it though, for such a great episode.

yeah it's my first time watching... a wild bbc america channel appeared on my tv channel list one day so i'm like "oh cool"

if your watching in order they give a terrible first impression.

The fart jokes.
The stereotypical alien face.
The awkward human-acting.

Anyway, make sure to see "Dalek", "Father's Day", and "The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances" from that Series.

Lolyeah
I would have probably stopped watching at the Slitheen episodes if I was watching in order

I am proud to say I made it through them chronologically.  tongue

I made them through, after quitting at The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances. I then started watching again after I found out a friend watches it. I am now a huge fan.

TBH, I like the Slitheen/Raxacoricofallapatorians. And the jokes were funny when I was 10, at least.

Ask me what I'm doing, wait an hour than roll a die, if it's 4-6, I'm playing Skyrim, if it's 1, I'm eating, if it's 2-3 I'm programming.

You, you gave up at The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances?
But liked the Slitheen?

I've seen all the episodes of the newer series (1,2,3,4,5, and 6) at least 3-4 times, yet never had any pyro thoughts...

Re: Doctor Who Official Thread

OMG that was an amazing episode. But Amy tripped out wierd. BTW, my fave line:

Doctor: Making souffles, against the Darleks? Where do you get the eggs?
Darlek: This conversation is irrelevent.

Has anyone seen the preview for the next episode, DINOSAURS WITH EGYPTIANS WITH 50s DETECTIVES ON A SPACESHIP? This is Doctor Who after all.
