absolutely nothing significant was added to the plot /besides like, the new companion/ unless the great intelligence's gonna be a running thing and i hope it wasn't because that whole thing was really dumb
I'm betting it will because otherwise it is a bit lacking in sense.
Yeah the Great Intelligence has been everything but confirmed as the enemy for the season if I remember correctly.
dash it all

Yo new episode
Really good this time so The Bells of Saint John apparently isn't signaling a trend.
Best episode of this series so far second place to Angels Take Manhattan.
Still feels a bit Davies-esque but it was done well this time.
Only complaint would be is that man was the sonic screwdriver too powerful.

Okay so you know how they mentioned the Doctor travelling with his granddaughter this episode
Susan, from the very first Doctor's adventures?
Well who else named Susan do we know of?
You guessed it:
Now there was some discussion on /r/doctorwho about whether or not Susan the granddaughter could also be Clara in a weird timey-wimey way
Well, what if they were ALL connected?
You won't convince me I'm not right.

Remember in "The Bells of Saint John" how Clara told that little kid to read chapter 11, and that it was the best? Coincidence? I think not!

There are worse fandoms.
Some of which, believe it or not, are even harder to follow.

Cold War was INCREDIBLE.
Just adding my opinion.

I can't wait until the twelfth Doctor comes in. I feel like he should regenerate in the 50th anniversary movie just so that we can watch 12 doctors fight that enemy they're talking about!

Cold War was pretty awesome. I liked the old guy who listened to the songs. xD
^^Yeah, the I think the twelfth Doctor should hurry up. I think it'd be best if Matt Smith regenerated at the end of season 7, because he's already lasted for season 5 and 6.

Cold War was pretty cool. I liked that.
And I want the twelfth Doctor to be a woman. And ginger.

Ginger would rock, it'd be the Doctor's dream come true, but I seriously don't think they're going to make the twelfth a woman. That'd be weird. xD

I don't see why it should matter what the doctor looks like
I just want The Doctor to be ginger because of the joke. I want The Doctor to be a woman because it would show that we are getting ready to start letting go of our silly little gender stereotypes we have. I agree it would be weird at first, but I would it used to it quickly. And if the people really liked the show, they wouldn't quit over that.

What gender stereotypes are there against women being the doctor?
I don't think there are specifically.
I wouldn't want him to be though. It's not that it would be a bad thing necessarily, just jarring.

Not on that, but that a woman can take a man's role in something.

I think the fact that you're calling it a "man's role" in the first place is self-defeating. It isn't a man's role, it's a role, and it's just been in best interest for the writers to make the character male
Forcing women into things just because it's a "man's role" isn't what girl power is about

In the non-canon "The Curse of Fatal Death", The Doctor was a woman in his/her 13th incarnation.
I wouldn't have a problem with The Doctor getting a sudden gender change, although it certainly would take a little while to get used to it.

I'm not calling it a man's role just because I think it should be one or whatever. I'm saying it's sort of come to one after all of these incarnations and everything. You know what, let's just stop this. It's going nowhere.

Well personally, I really really really really don't want the Doctor to turn into a woman.
