i have been using official scratch for 5 years and 18 days exactly  wink
i didn't make an account until '09 and i had found a beta version on an RCX forum somewhere around early 2006
the thread was deleted a couple of hours after it was posted so i guess i was one of the lucky few!

I joined the same day I joined the forums. Well, officially.
I had known about Scratch and had it on my computer since 2009.

I just made the account and started to get involved in 2010. :D

As long as Scratch has been public, about 5-6 years. I was making projects before I made an account, and I only made an account so I could download a project that I thought was interesting. Then, I discovered the "Share" button, and started sharing my projects (that were not that great) online. Then I forgot the password for that account, and made this one. So, yeah, people like me have good tales of the history of Scratch.
