PunBB actually has a built-in poll option, so that could come in handy.
Also are iamges going to be enabled on the new forums?

Forums are FluxBB.
Images aren't going to be enabled just yet, although there is a plan to put them back in place, there's just a few more things to think about (see here for more info).

If theres not enough mods, then get more. There are plenty of people on this site with lots of experience. There'll be almost nothing to talk about (I can't really relate to other's interests) and no freedom. As sad as it is, the Miscellaneous forum is the only real social life I have. This is so completely unnecessary and there'll be almost no point for a lot of Scratchers to even go on the site anymore. Please don't destroy the forums Scratch Team

I reckon with all this change img tags should come back with it.

I honestly don't see what the problem is here. Misc is not being killed, it's just being cut in half... that sounds bad, I know, but it's not. Seriously, this doesn't affect me in the slightest, since I'll still be able to talk about Doctor Who and my stories.

It's fine to disagree strongly with ideas/policies/points - but it's not okay to disrespect any member of the Scratch community - including the admins. Please keep your discussion focused on your arguments.

This update is like Scratch's version of SOPA, except you replace privacy with spam. That's good, however.
AKA: I want this update.

The problem with these two new forums is the fact that their names and descriptions are too vague. Things I'm Making and Creating? Cool. Things I'm Reading and Playing? Also fine. However, therein lies of the problem. What if someone wants to pst a topic, but it's not about them Making, Creating, Reading, or Playing? What if it's an opinion topic? Maybe there should also be a "Things I'm Wondering and Asking" section as well. So far, the wording of the new stuff is vague. Remember the controversy the censorship bills caused? It was because of vague wording. Bill S.978? Vague wording. You can see where this will go.

I don't think you're getting this. The point of actually having a subject for the forums is so people actually stick to those subjects, instead of just rambling about anything and everything. And anyway, the most popular topics, My Portal Craft, will still be acceptable within the new forums.

For anyone who enjoys miscellaneous (and this may not be worth advertising since it's stickied in misc.) I created a party topic for anyone to enjoy the remaining time on misc. (my sig also links to it)
