People seem to be upset about the deletion of the Misc. forum. I'm not.
If people want to talk about things that aren't related to Scratch they should go to a different forum. 

I think the two sub-forums replacing Misc. go along with Scratch's motto, and encourage people to be, well, encouraging! Not to mention creative.

Although they are more spammy, because new scratchers often say random posts on random topics like "hi look at my games"

And there's New Members going around telling people what to do like they own the place...
And users all like 'Hii!!!!! I agree!!! thx weewee xxxxxxx' and I think that the user restrictions should be reinstated for the new sections seeing as the idea is that you wean new Scratchers in to how these forumz work, then when they know how to act civilized they can post in the more-likely-to-get-spammed sections.

Same. Or at least merge the 2 new sections. It's annoying having to flick between forums.

It might be an annoyance to move between forums, but this subdivision makes it easier to find threads with subjects that might be more appealing to the user. For example, those who want to listen to other Scratchers music can look through a smaller MaC forum, same can be said those who want to talk about their favorite games can look through a smaller RaP forum.

Most other forum sites contain multiple subdivisions for topics not related to the main point of the forum for similar reasons, and like here, you're likely to encounter moving between different forum sections.

But yeah, it is quite annoying in some ways. Like whenever I can't remember whether a thread is in MAC or RAP, I ALWAYS go to the wrong one ._.

It isn't that hard, you just have to think about the main subject and think about where it fits best. Creative stuff usually goes in MaC and things we listen to or play go into RaP.

And don't forget there's always the search function.

There's some threads that could probably go in either though. Like the "Which sports do you play?" one. I still don't see why it was moved to MAC, but I always forget that it's been moved ._.

There's some discussion about that between the mods, some say it should be in RaP, some say MaC. That one hasn't quite been settled down just yet. ^^;
