So annoying ... >:(
I am considered 'amazing' at art in my previous schools and current one. This really gets to me. I cant bear it when some idiot who is actually pretty good at drawing herself, walks up, sees whatever im drawing and says, "wow thats amazing" when she knows perfectly well i only tolerate that from someone whos never said that to me before. Plus, 9 out of 10 of my drawings are [naughty word] and they just say it anyway.
I cant stand it.

I have a life and I dont [naughty word] care what you think and whether you wish you can draw like that and I should be an artist.
I have told annoying as I just described why I dont like that and really only an art teacher saying my art is good is pleasantly acceptable and, no I do not want to be an artist. Some day I think I will be a programmer just to annoy people. And yes my grans an artist,but people, that doesnt mean I have to be one aswell. I should give up art. But its addictive.
But annoying.

Well, I still can't see how that would annoy anyone, but I'd suggest just telling them to stop

just becuase they are saying your good at drawing does not mean that they are saying you should become an artist
you should say thank you instead of being annoyed at them. It`s not like they know that you hate it when they do that, they just like your drawings.

Yeh see what you mean.
But it really annoys me when they whine, "omg you are like amazing at drawing. How dyou do it? You should become an artist someday"
every day.
I forgot to mention they always say i should be an artist. People saying stuff like that really puts me off and I now want to be a proffessional cricketer
Im ok at ... Hiding emotions and saying thx politely ... But after a while i do tell them. But they seem to forget.

Try telling them, "Thanks, but I don't like being praised so much, so could you try to not praise my drawing so much? It distracts me."

Tell them that what they're drawing is a picture of them, unless it actually looks like them in which case you just draw a handlebar mustache-goatee-monocle combo on it and tell them that.
But seriously, it's not like they're trying. They just think you're good at it. I have this "problem" too and the best solution is to just not respond or give a noncommittal grunt.
