I never got into the 3rd gen...even if I am playing Sapphire currently. I'm holding out for another Mystery Dungeon game with 5th gen, considering how amazingly well done they were.

They WILL make it though.
But if you people know anything about the cycle of this,
We're gonna have to wait something close to 3 years to get them.
Then another year for the actual gen 6 games.
It worked like this:
Gen 1
(time)
Gen 2
(time)
Gen 1 remakes
(1 year (or close) )
Gen 3
(time)
Gen 4
(time)
Gen 2 remakes
(1 year (or close) )
Gen 5
Etc.

I love generation three. I'm glad they're finally making a remake, as they are two systems anew. If they make a generation four remake, then that'd be silly.

i could see a massive upgrade for gen 4
battle arcade
arrrrr
heck
skip the remakes
allow us to go to all 5 main regions
and those islands
then challenge the world championship
that would make the most sense
