Just wanted to know what torrent apps you use.
Vuze was the one I used first, then I tried bittorrent and that was bad so I switched back
If you're thinking torrents are only for pirating, they're not, they are also a great way for indy game makers to distribute their games and for programmers to distribute their applications without expensive bandwith.

That's like filetype racism right there man. As Skyline said, they're great for indie developers or musicians who don't want to have to pay for bandwidth.

Because downloading any other executable file is "safe?" I think you need to lurk moar. Any executable file can give you malware. My friend, the best programmer at my school, made a normal .EXE in visual basic that randomly puts mouse and keyboard input. He's also working on one that will harvest passwords, looking like the Windows "Run As" box. ANY EXECUTABLE can be made into malware, regardless of the source.
Torrents=Legal and as "good" as any other download
Piracy as a "trial" before you buy=Illegal but good, the coders don't care as long as they get their money in the end]
Piracy instead of buying=Illegal and not as good. I still think that people are overreacting and greedy; these people make millions of dollars every year and yet they're getting annoyed over one $50 loss? As I always think, many people are able to live happy lives with less than $100,000, many with less than $20,000. Just because you are rich does not mean that you need to spend all that money on a massive house, a ferrari, a private jet, etc. [/annoyingrantoncapitalism]

Downloading anything can do that, just don't download 2kb games and antivirus which nobody's heard of.

@jji7skyline: It's something from Homestuck. PG-13 because of language, among other things. Google at your own risk.

As Mr. Skittles said, same risk as any other EXE. And I do it on Ubuntu so I can't get a virus anyway

You said "stuff" three times.
Therefore, it can be concluded that torrents are stuff.
