Yo, I volunteered to vocalize several days ago.

Just stopping by to ask if your old vocalist in whom you were waiting for the return of has returned. I'm too lazy to read back.

I must say fg123 has been right all this time though, you really should listen to the advice people outside the band give you, rather than just try to prove them wrong with walls of text (I see your replies as that). I've been doubting putting you in my spot just because of that, seriously.

I agree with veggie, LSJ isn't perfect yet. It may be hard to fix it but you have plenty of time - we have no set deadline. He was right when he said we should care more about sound than schedule.

.flp files aren't that big iirc, only some megabytes. Audio clips are the big stuff and I'm pretty sure those are outside the file.

Look techno, I'm sorry it appeared to you like that, I really am. I really try to contribute to the group in every way possible. It's just that, if you are faced with the troubled and frustrating times I'm going through right now, you'll understand.

I am not doing this as a favour for your band, so don't get me wrong. I am capable of and have started a serious solo career online too. I just want to get Frozen Coco to work to their optimum.

I play acoustic guitar, lead guitar, drums, bass guitar, and keyboards, just for the record. I am keen on continuing work with this band, that's why I opened this thread. I believe that I am capable of leading this band well, and if you consider me a part-timer, I might as well quit. I don't want that.

Please be considerate. When was the last time fg123 ever complimented any of my work. He always had criticism with no positives. Whether it be my cover art, mixing, etc., you seem the only one who can bring out the pros and cons of it. He just brings out the cons. With this argument going on, it is hard for me to maintain my temper, even with others.

Lastly, I hope you have understood my situation and as a serious musician and asset to the band, I think it a foolish move to deprive me of such places in the band until my time lasts. My answer is, yes, if I am taking Frozen Coco forward, I will ensure its continued success, but I am not willing to join as a make-shift act.

I hope this message I just typed isn't just a wall of text to you. I greatly feel for Frozen Coco and its band members. If not, I wouldn't bother to have continued Reload or to have come up with written songs that we could possibly use later (they have not been uploaded online). Thanks.

When I upload some of my work, I don't 'point all the good stuff' out. Please do not make stuff up. I hate it when people look for excuses. When uploading the LSJ mixed track, I was merely stating my opinion by saying that I like the bass sound of the Hofner in it (naturally). You didn't particularly, but you did call Lellowsfuzz' track "horribly off-tempo" and that you had to "salvage" it. He is the actual keyboardist in the band, so why not just ask him to re-record it?


Also, I think DIY should be able to be a full-time member of the band, but I don't think he really works as a bandleader the way Techno does.

Well, it is true that Lellowsfuzz's track wasn't on tempo. It finished a whole ten seconds later than the rest of the instruments which got me worried whether his playing drowns the sound source. Even Techno agreed with me on that. When I said 'horribly', I wasn't mocking him. Lellowsfuzz hasn't replied to this thread since.

I may mix LSJ again this weekend if you guys want me to with the piano tracks adjusted. Thanks about the bit about the band membership, and if I am leader, I will vow to work the way Techno does at least from now.

You mean designer45? I saw them online a few days ago. Proof. I'm not sure if that means they want to be the FC vocalist, though.

I think I mentioned this to you before, but you're likely to be in if the other guys in the band want you to. They have not told me yet, so we'll let you know.

Yes, and don't take this personally, but I would much rather say what I think needs to be improved.

Now add to the fact that I should say good stuff about your cover art; what if I don't like it? Do I have to add a fake "good stuff" to each of my personal opinions? I would find that really pointless...
