Another thing: I’ve just seen how stupid the arguments going on are, and to quote DIY they are rather ‘baseless’.

Although I don’t know him in real life, I’m sure if there is a person to take your band forward, it’s him. I saw his Let It Be cover that he released at the end of last year (I think) and it was EPIC!!!

Can you believe that he played ALL the instruments on that?!! I don’t know what the instrumentation in that song is, but all I know is that it is extremely hard to play... My band tried to perform it and they could not work out the exact parts at all!

In this context, DIY was definitely not wrong. What he says is right. It’s just that you guys seem to gang up against him each time a wrong statement is made on one of your parts.

Lellowsfuzz, I don’t see your point of leaving, but well, I’ve seen better pianists. They are an easy breed to find, lol!

I hope I have spoken sense to you all - do tell me if I’m in as violinist! 

Wow! I just listened to it and it is amazing! Simply... flawless...

The recording quality is superb. There is no background disturbance and it's an extremely professional job. Out of the two who've auditioned so far, you are the better one by far, I think it's safe to say.

Without delay, I say you're in!

And yes, techno did appoint my violinist, hence the whole point of making the violin part of Gone.

And lock - sounds great! But to me it sounds like it was digitally made? Could you clarify that?

fg123, it is not digitally made. 

Maybe that happened when I transferred it online. I did filter it to get rid of the loud notes in Audacity, but no, I did play it. There's no harm in that, it just meanss less work for DIY! :lol

What do you mean, there a hint of reverb maybe? 

veggieman001, you can listen to it in that media player at the bottom of the screen. 

I think DIY listened to fg123's version because he mentioned mine's was the better of the two, indicating he did indeed. Don't worry, your's sounds great too! It is just like DIY said that your mic picks more background noise than mine and my notes are more pronounced and clear. 

fg, you could also try running it through noise removal in Audacity and see what you get.

We only need violin for Gone... Not to be harsh, but you're only an invited artist.    Yes, the violin in Gone was added just for the sake of having you play, but at least I can't consider you a full-time band member.

As for the forum, he's "Band Member" in there just because he's an administrator. I consider that just an insignificant detail that has no effect over us.

DIY, I never wanted this band to be professional. What could be so professional about a band formed by kids 11-15 in a kids' website, whose main audience is kids on said website, anyway? We do want this to be an organized, and efficient group, but you don't need to act all professional to get things done.

I honestly think it seems like you're trying to take over the band because I can't be online often. I did put you in charge of the band precisely because of that, but if you're going to treat anyone outside the band giving us feedback, like you do now, perhaps I should reconsider it.

The former is the main reason. Ever since you showed up, we've made no progress whatsoever. You basically elected yourself the leader(which you're not,) and turned this band into something else. It is MAINLY(but not just) these actions that have caused me to quit the band.

Sad to hear that. When I created the very first topic I wanted the same as you, just a group for fun. Not a bunch of discussions for me to sort out. I see your point about DIY, I hope we can sort all this out in the next few days.

EDIT: designer45 did reply about 2 days ago, saying she'd rather be on fg123's forum than her's. Nobody here knows if she's unbanned here yet? In any case, I'll still use fg's forum - organizing everything is much easier there than on a single topic here. Especially since it looks like an argument war zone now.

That is definitely not my intention. I do not aspire to take over the band, but instead I want to see FC blossom. You did make me manager, true, but it is not I who is always to blame for these arguments. I agree with Locker, I am a tough guy to please, but I don't agree with the way others approach me.

Professionalism is important, to me at least. Just cos we're "11-15 year olds", doesn't mean we can't raise our game when we very clearly have the potential. You and I are great musicians (we play many instruments, read music well, etc.), there's no point denying. How hard is it to find a person who is a good vocalist? The vocals are the only reason that I don't show FC's songs to my other friends. Even from the lot I made listen to the songs, none of them failed to comment on the vocals saying they were not good.

I can easily find us another vocalist (who is better than designer), but that isn't our main priority right now. We have the recording of tracks to do for Gone and Reload. When the time is right, let's find a vocalist. there are plenty craving for the spot.

Do you really want comments like the ones below for all our projects?

Those are some of the comments putting down the vocals. Wouldn't you listen to the feedback of the fans? My point is, designer's not confident and clearly is not a great singer. I have nothing personal against her, but I think that it would be pointless to shift this topic to another place just because of a singer who isn't exceptional in the first place. She quit anyway, so we must move on, finding a better vocalist although she may regret leaving at all.

@ All:

I'm not using my 'absolute power', so don't talk nonsense. Only a fool would deny that Locker's violin part is better than fg's. I'm sure Techno will agree with me in saying that it is so, and now that we need to move on, I suggest we take Locker's bit since it is conveniently free of any background disturbances and pitchy notes.

Techno, trust me in what I'm doing, and I can assure you that I will guide FC well. 

I think the problem is that you don't support eachother as a band, you just insult and argue with eachother and make eachother feel bad until people leave then you go on a hunt for yet more band members. You also tell people how bad they are when they've been replaced, but you end up crawling back when their replacement leaves because of the arguing.

imo it's you. what are you even doing here, arguing with diy all the time? you're not actually in the band.
