You do not understand the situation. You obviously have not used FluxBB. He can remain administrator or moderator if he wanted to, without necessarily changing the name to Band Member. Why do you think the REAL band members didn't have moderator status when they initially joined the forum but were Band Members? There's no reason as to why he should have deleted the posts of administrator/moderator and put himself in as a false band member.

There's absolutely no point continuing this argument unless of course, you want to continue defending him. It was you who turned this conversation ugly by using 'bloody', and I got annoyed and used it back on you, so you watch it.

I know I probably don't have much of a say in this, but if it's his forum then he should be able to appear as whatever he bloody wants. Anyone actually in the band could be told that he's not anyway, not much of a deal.

Defend him for all you like. No one ever stated anything about fg123 being violinist. The violin spot cannot be given directly to the first person. I know that Locker, a good friend of mine on Scratch, plays violin really well. Let's give him a chance and determine the quality. I was not angry until veggieman posted his uncalled-for comment, so do not always blame me. Do not think you're in, fg123. Both techno and I have to agree first, and until Locker's given a chance, we'll have to see.

Have you not seen LSJ? It isn't easy to make songs and you probably have no idea what effort goes into it. I have started recording bass for Reload. You have no idea what progress we are making. The former is the main reason. Ever since you showed up, we've made no progress whatsoever. You basically elected yourself the leader(which you're not,) and turned this band into something else. It is MAINLY(but not just) these actions that have caused me to quit the band.

I am leader, as Techno said. Why do you blame me??? I am not the reason for the unrest between veggieman and me. He started it by using an offensive tone and coining the term 'bloody'. After I was elected leader by Techno, I vowed not to start any disputes, and what veggieman did was a little too much. What was meant to be a general discussion turned out to be an uncalled-for argument, thanks to him.

I can tell you that I was appalled by your attitude when I first talked to you. I was helping the band out when you had not submitted your piano tracks and then you got mad at me for 'taking your post'. You held the others behind, so don't say that after I joined, FC didn't make any progress whatsoever. We have already fully completed LSJ in shorter time than it took between MVTY and WIBY. I frequently come on Scratch and record tracks/build scores for FC, so we have made lots of progress indeed. Maybe you can next time think on these things without making such baseless statements. It's your choice, and now that you've quit, bye.

DIY, don't you think the band should give preference to highly active Scratch members that have actually proven themself by recording? And I'm pretty sure fg was made the violinist in one of the million or so threads.

I saw DIY’s post regarding my violin part and I decided to record it straight away…

I managed to finish this in about 30 minutes (practicing and recording) and this is the result!

I hope you guys like it!

I don’t mean to sound the wise guy or anything, but guys, I think you should seriously stop blaming DIY for everything. He is a good mate of mine on Scratch and I know he pushes for professionalism.

He can be a tough guy to please, but his results are stellar! I know that for a fact by the way he conducts his collabs and even solo projects.

Although I don’t know him in real life, I’m sure if there is a person to take your band forward, it’s him. I saw his Let It Be cover that he released at the end of last year (I think) and it was EPIC!!!

Can you believe that he played ALL the instruments on that?!! I don’t know what the instrumentation in that song is, but all I know is that it is extremely hard to play... My band tried to perform it and they could not work out the exact parts at all!

In this context, DIY was definitely not wrong. What he says is right. It’s just that you guys seem to gang up against him each time a wrong statement is made on one of your parts.

Wow! I just listened to it and it is amazing! Simply... flawless...

The recording quality is superb. There is no background disturbance and it's an extremely professional job. Out of the two who've auditioned so far, you are the better one by far, I think it's safe to say.

Without delay, I say you're in!

For the record, did you even listen to mine?

And yes, techno did appoint my violinist, hence the whole point of making the violin part of Gone.

And lock - sounds great! But to me it sounds like it was digitally made? Could you clarify that?

Unfortunately, because this is online, there is no way to tell. I think you should just trust that it's real. Unless there's some way to compare it to a digital version from several popular midi programs and look for exact matches...

We only need violin for Gone... Not to be harsh, but you're only an invited artist.    Yes, the violin in Gone was added just for the sake of having you play, but at least I can't consider you a full-time band member.

As for the forum, he's "Band Member" in there just because he's an administrator. I consider that just an insignificant detail that has no effect over us.

A bit of both, heh. You are right though, no point in arguing or striving to make this band "professional" if we can barely get songs done.

DIY, I never wanted this band to be professional. What could be so professional about a band formed by kids 11-15 in a kids' website, whose main audience is kids on said website, anyway? We do want this to be an organized, and efficient group, but you don't need to act all professional to get things done.

I honestly think it seems like you're trying to take over the band because I can't be online often. I did put you in charge of the band precisely because of that, but if you're going to treat anyone outside the band giving us feedback, like you do now, perhaps I should reconsider it.

Sad to hear that. When I created the very first topic I wanted the same as you, just a group for fun. Not a bunch of discussions for me to sort out. I see your point about DIY, I hope we can sort all this out in the next few days.

EDIT: designer45 did reply about 2 days ago, saying she'd rather be on fg123's forum than her's. Nobody here knows if she's unbanned here yet? In any case, I'll still use fg's forum - organizing everything is much easier there than on a single topic here. Especially since it looks like an argument war zone now.
