Fake-quitting was a popular thing to do on the old Misc forum, as d45 did. I'm not saying it was the right thing to do, but when other people fake-quit and then came back on, the community accepted them back.

Also, it will be a lot less work (choosing a new vocalist, re-recording two songs, and modifying the rest of the songs) if you let your old vocalist back into the band.

Finally, when Designer45 quit, there was a big outcry, as I remember. Several scratchers thought she shouldn't quit and that she was letting the community down. The community will be happier if you let designer45 come back to Frozen Coco.

I hope you consider my points.

This is, of course, with the exception that if you made any promises to other scratchers, they would still get the job.

Professionalism comes before anything else. We have no need to rush our songs, and if choosing a new vocalist and redoing the old songs will take time, the band is willing to do it. Besides, I will only have to mix the vocals again for those songs.

Have you seen the comments on WIBY? How will the community be happier? The majority didn't like her voice, but since of late, some are saying its OK because they feel sympathetic towards her. I feel for her too, but the band's final polished result is more important than all else. Now that she made the wrong move, she has herself to blame. We need to be professional. If she stayed on, that's another matter. It would not have been nice to kick her out of the band.

I don't mean to sound technical or anything, but that's the truth. Techno, I think that it's good to hold the auditions. There are plenty of good vocalists out there even from the ones who signed up. If we can't find a good vocalist for some time, that can be the last on our itenary for Crimson Love because we are still a long way off of finishing the album. I personally think that is the best for the band and I hope you Techno, understand too.

The vocals for Gone and Reload shouldn't be a problem as it suits a guy's voice imo. I'll do those as we discussed.

And not to be competitive, but I've got Techno, Lellows, hpotter, designer and I registered on my forum, while you only have Lellows and you, so if it does come to it, my forum would be the easiest to transition over, because you and jslomba would be the only ones to have to be registered, accounting for all of the band. In fact, you should go register right now.

jslomba, you too, then we could get organized there.

fg's forum is, like, a lot better. It's cleaner and more professional without the clunky Weebly system and it uses forum software that's proven to work.

I made it clear that we are not using another forum. And it is a Webs forum. It is the same thing for goodness' sake; just a different style. It is not clunky. We aren't registering on a new forum.

And your opinion matters more than the other people in the band? I wasn't telling you to use it anyway. I was merely suggesting it was more professional and a better option than yours. 

Using this forum makes more sense to the band. It is the same thing. I have already talked of the inconvenience of using another forum. I am besides band manager along with Techno, and he and I agreed that we should use this and see about designer45's activity. I never mentioned anything about using my website's forum besides.

I think he said about checking about designer45, but not band manager???

I would not have put that on the first post and told him so if he hadn't made me manager. Why do you even question that fact???

Everyone can register. Band discussions are limited to a special forum only they can see.

And Designer sent me a PM on my forum, she's unquitting. And a new post count system

@Zeusking: I and DIY do manage the band. Right now it's mostly him, because I can't get on the computer much.

But if we do need to move somewhere else, we'll move to fg123's forum.

Good idea. If she doesn't reply, we'll just move on and find a new vocalist. It shouldn't be too hard.

So it is confirmed, we do not need another forum. designer45's not gonna be banned for long, which means that even if she doesn't come back, we will be using this one. I see no point, and nor does techno, so there's no reason for a change.

Band members, could we put these troubled discussions aside and start on the two remaining songs (they are on the first post of this thread). Ditch the new forum idea.

Let me put this clear for everybody: We'll only move to fg123's forum if designer45 can't be unbanned here. But I'll pay it a visit right now anyway, just to update stuff.

You're right and I do understand what you mean, but designer45 is not a huge asset to the band. I can guarantee that I will find us a good vocalist. We gave her your suggested quota of time to reply in one day and she hasn't. It would be pointless to move this forum just because of one member who like you said, isn't exceptional.

To manage the forum he created, he need not put himself as Band Member. He can just be a Moderator if he wanted to. Anyway, we aren't using that forum though.

Where in my post did I say you were using the forum? Nowhere. Now stop repeating yourself, I bloody get it already.

And unless I'm mistaken, Band Member is the name for either Moderator or Administrator on there.
