It's not about the brand, zippynk, it's more the fact that Bob Bryar my hero used to own it ^^ Yes it's cheap at the mo :'D

If you can afford it and you really want it, go for it. Just don't bid if you can't afford it - it's not helpful to you or the cause if you don't have the money to purchase this banana rack.

Eh, it's not stupid to me. Nor unusual.

It reminds me of LittleKuriboh's Card Games for Charity events, I've seen those Ebay bids go for very high prices at times. I bet it's the same for other Ebay charity causes as well.

Someone should tell Bob Bryar to sign the banana rack, though. Signed stuff usually fetches more money.

Yeah, Bob's mad that he wanted to buy crates of Iams dog food at cost price to give to the shelter, but Iams said they had to go buy it full-price at Walmart. -__- How caring...

If you rent(s) need more convincing, explain how humor is a necessary and healthy thing to life and the banana is the funniest of all fruits. Having these Heroes of Hilarity on display could greatly improve your mood.

I found another one on eBay non-auction for $10 (actually $9.99).

If you have the money, and seriously want it(which you obviously do), go ahead.  Bid on it.  Even if you can't get it in the end, you'll have tried, but I bet you'll win.

I couldn't buy a banana rack from either of my two heroes because:
1) I wouldn't need to because the banana rack I'd buy is already in the pantry(Dad).
2) My other hero is dead(Brian Jacques).

Well, yeah, see if he'll sign it. Then go for it.
