A question I really need answered

Ok so im making a basketball game and i was wondering if there is any way to amke like a meter where like if the bar was touching green it would show the sprites that make the shot go in and then if it was on red it wont go in in. I know the whole if _ is touching color but i cant figure out how to do that. Thanks so much for any help!

Ok so If you know the project thats like archery thats super good i want it to be a little like that where you have a meter and then if it is touching the green then the shot will go in, but if it is touching the red part of the meter it wont go in.
