Animating a certain thing...
So I'm making a character snowboard, and the turns are perfect, but would it look more realistic if I add snow carvings behind it?

Yes, snow spraying around the curve of the board would make it look more realistic. When the board is on its side digging into the snow, it would skim the surface of the snow like a surfer on the water. The more tilted the board is towards the ground, the larger the snow spray on that side.

Ok. Thanks for you advice. I knew it does that affect, but I didn't know it was the visible in real life.

Look up some videos of snowboarding on youtube. It's slight, but there is some snow spray.

Yeah. I snowboard myself.
