some people do not believe in global warming.
Please explain?
And while this has opinions, I wouldn't say it's political because it is more whether the science is there

They think they're too cool for that

I believe global warming is possible. Given different circumstances.
I don't believe it's much of an issue right now.

Oh I see what u did there.
Rule number one of life: Yes, there is ALWAYS someone stupid enough. Many people just deny plain facts. My cousin's boyfriend tutors, one person he tutored was a medical sciences major in college, and she didn't believe in atoms and cells because she believed that god created everything. I still don't understand how that statement invalidates atoms, which we have obviously learned to split open.

Agreed.
While I am Christian I don't see how a lot of stuff it says would go against proven science (like the atoms in your example)

That's my post
that describes what people in my school believe
I guess they're too cool for an environment as well

Naturally you can never be certain of anything

This response is something I see often, but here's the catch: if the world was to suddenly go into a third ice age, would we do nothing because it's natural? If the world Is getting warmer, are we going to watch the ice caps melt because it MAY BE natural?

But isn't it much bigger this time?

I was kidding about that response.
But you can also never be certain it DOESN'T exist, so wouldn't it be better to err on the side of caution?

Not to mention that fossil fuels, read: carbon-based polluting fuels will run out anyway, so why not develop alternatives NOW?

Yes, I believe they predicted the oil would run out 9 years ago.

Meaning the prediction came 9 years ago or it was predicted to run out 9 years ago? It WILL, and why risk having total chaos by lack of transportation? I personally lean toward a Hydrogen based fuel that would emit only H2O
