Tintin is amazing. I was behind my seat when he was knocked out on the aeroplane, slowly sliding towards the spinning fan blades... And the part where to escape the boat, Tintin used champagne corks to fake gun shots! 
It's awesome because:
It has action.
It has guns.
It has CGI.
It has adrenaline.
It has peril.
It has motorcycles.
It has boats.
It has planes.
It has explosions.
It has a dog.
It has a boy.
It has pirates.
It has a cool Spanish guy in.
It has money.
It has opera.
Need I say anymore?

Haddock: I got cold, so I lit a wee fire.
Tintin: IN A BOAT?!?!?!
Haddock: *doesn't get why that's bad*
Tintin: Help me put this fire out! *scoops seawater onto fire*
Haddock: *picks up bottle of whiskey*
Tintin: NO!
Haddock: *dump*
BOOM
Haddock: I don't remember...my memory's not what it used to be.
Tintin: What did it used to be?
Haddock: I forgot...
