I've been kinda inactive over the hols, so, what trolling made the [img] tags disappear?
I'm just hoping its not my fault
So... can anyone enlighten me?

Why would it be your fault?
The [img] tags disappeared because they're was a huge troll attack similar to the one that caused the New Scratcher status to exist.
So basically bad images everywhere.
Oh and they're going to be disabled until the ST can find a better way to deal with the situation.

Some REALLY explicit images being posted and uploaded.
I don't think you'd want me to go into any more detail :\

What the.
When I quote I see the "Hoping it's not my fault" but highlighting the original post doesn't do anything
Anyway, some idiot posted TONS of very inappropriate, and graphic images.

These people were not only trolling, but breaking the law. Think about it. By accepting the Community Guidelines, they pretty much legally vowed to obey them- and breaking their vow is breaking the law. Read the Guidelines if you need proof. If Scratch could find them, they could actually sue them- not for much, about the price of a lawyer, but it'll teach 'em a lesson.

Scratch is part of MIT, they probably have the best lawyers next to Microsoft.

In all honesty, I am only somewhat briefed on the matter, and I have to make deductions of what happened based on my fellow peers.
From what I gather, a rather large group of trolls [Scratcher rank] invaded the forums and posted some rather unsavory images.

It was 1 person.

1 person, alternate accounts? Or just 1 person?
I find it quite hard to believe that one person voided all the image tags.

It was just 1 person on 1 account whilst mods were offline.

Alright, thanks for clearing that up, mcr.
I still find that quite hard to believe.

It isn't too hard to do, have the text in your clipboard and stay online until mods are off then create loads of topics and just paste the images as much as you can.

We can not go into detail about that no matter how bad it is. I don't even know, but I don't want to start gossip about bans and talking about other users behind their backs, so please, nobody say the username.
EDIT: You actually thought I meant it? wow.

I think Wayback Machine would work.
I'm not supporting you in any way, or going to check.

Seriously, why would you say that? If it was a joke, it's not funny at all, and if not, then why on Earth would you want to see it?! You do know just how disgusting they were, right?

It is.
The perpetrator's friends were actually worrying that he could be sent to jail.
