HELP! HELP! TROlLLS ULTRAATTACKING!
Do the mods have no power to stop the chaos that is the Miscellaneous forum? I've stopped posting on it for fear of being crushed by all the trolls... And it seems tro have calmed down momentarily, but then there will be more coming back. Help, mods! Help!

Calm down, and if you see anyone posting anything derogatory, just post around it, ignore it, continue the topic without paying heed to it. With the right attitude even several people "attacking" at once can just be looked on as a minor inconvenience.
People usually post things that are mean or offensive for people's negative reactions or attention. Supply neither and they eventually stop, even if it takes a while.

No need to freakishly over-exaggerate here.
You see, trolls just like it when they produce a huge response of any sort.
So you are technically being a troll my making the trolls happy.
They will only come back if you respond like this.
"I've worked so hard for you and you give me nothing in return. Do you need help... Or do I?"

just ignore the troll. If you don't feed the trolls, they won't come back for more.
Also, report anything that is inapropriate.
No need to worry now, since the Scratch team blocked pictures in the Forums.

Trolls look for things that amuse them, and have a more sadistic sense of humor than most people. They like to see people get irritated by whatever they're doing, for the sake of it being amusing. Be boring, by not reacting to them, or counter-troll them by ignoring what they're doing no matter the amount of spam or attempts they give. It really makes a wanna be troll look like an idiot when their attempts go unnoticed
