About 1 month ago, I saw the first Harry Potter for the first time 

I saw the movie. It was great

Yeah. But you have to admit, the Harry Potter movies were AWESOME (Well, maybe not the fifth one. But I liked the others c:)

The fifth one, in my opinion, was TERRIBLE. I loved the third one :3

They were all fine.

I mean, let's be honest, the fifth movie had the worst source material.

I'm not sure if this has already been mentioned; I've never visited this thread before, but there's a marathon of the Harry Potter films going on right now on ABC Family.

I think they're going to start Half-Blood Prince tomorrow.

I'm getting every single DVD for my birthday :3

I saw the Prisoner of Azkaban when I went to this laser tag place. I think my favorite book was probably the 4th or 5th book. My favorite character was probably Harry because of how he was courageous during all these attacks by Voldemort.

Really old post, but that happens like every other weekend on ABC Family. 

@Rodent; best movie character, but not book character IMO

I read 'em all, seen all but the 7th movie, second best series I've ever read. 
Top 11 favorite characters:
Harry  - DUH
Ron  - even though he got kind of corny after book 5
Hermione  - another duh
Snape   - awesome in a mean sort of way
Dumbledore - I liked the part in #5 when he gets away from imprisonment in Azkaban
Sirius Black   - Very close with Lupin, but I think he was just a bit cooler
Remus Lupin   - Very close with Sirius
Fred  - hilarious
George  - ever so slightly less hilarious 
Luna  - her character seems better in the movies
Barty Crouch jr.   -  random? Nope, he only has two lines, but he's David Tennant!!!

technically barty crouch jr. had countless lines of dialogue

My favorite characters (i've only seen movies 1-5 but i'm rereading the books) are (not in order cause i like most equally):

Mad-eye Moody
Sirius Black
Harry Potter
Hermione Granger
Ron Weasley
Neville Longbottom (partly because i feel sad for his bad luck partly cause he killed voldemorts snake)
Albus Dumbledore
Rubeus Hagrid
*something* Lupin
Minerva McGonagall

I don't know why everyone's so obssessed with Tonks! Honestly I think she's gross and her powers are disturbing! But last i read the books i was like 9, now i'm 13, so i don't remember her book description much. Not that I'd dwell on it!!

Oh yeah, also Fred, George, and I think it was Fleur Decour or something cause, well    You get the picture....
