Re: Adding images back into your experience - now with videos!

Just posting some news... I've been working on a nice little Antidote checker that checks whether the page needs antidote to run. I will be posting something soon!  smile

@rookwook, can you tell me what tokens, & the HTML replacement are for the scratch BBCode? I'm thinking of adding it to some of my forums!  big_smile

Sooner or Later. Or sooner. Not much, except for a lot. In a way. But it will come no matter what.

Re: Adding images back into your experience - now with videos!

I specifically started work on it on the day that this thread was posted (29/03/12 or 03/29/12 if you're American)

Edit: I found the original ideas thread as well: http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic.php?id=85152

Of course. I meant the time...if you can't answer, I'll have to assume my time-stamp was earlier: http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic … 3#p1067453

I dunno whether it was your code I based it off or not (I don't think it was) I can credit you in the first post if that's what you want though.

4 months later...

Anyways, the reason I was annoyed was that it is based off of coco's code. I had fixed coco's code, and coco acknowledged it. (he later re-posted my code) The following day, you had made this topic--the first draft of Antidote was using a patch of coco's code, which evidently was only a few lines away from the code coco acknowledged I had written.

Wow. I have some clear memories of coding that evening.

Do you want credit on the first post or not then? I don't really remember the specifics of the evening and it doesn't matter to me either way.

And in terms of reasons why the code would have been similar: I either used your code or maybe it could just be the fact that there's only a few ways cocoa's code could have been fixed.

I'll admit that in the first version the code was essentially all cocoa's but now the code is completely different and mainly and LS98 and mine's

I don't know how you'd credit me, though. My point is, Antidote V1 was essentially the same code I wrote, and there isn't much reason why Antidote is any popular than what I wrote.

I formatted the code into a userscript and stuck it in its own thread with instructions on installation and usage.

And exactly how much work is it? Really coco should be the one getting credit.

And he is!
