Ok then,

I will make a forum named ScratchBB playground, and all of the ScratchBB developers can be an admin so we can play around with the features, and get ideas.

I will edit when I have it up.

thanks!

Re: Scratch Forum Development Thread

Oh, and If ScratchBB needs a website as well as a sourceforge, I can do that.

Oh, and also, if you need a human resources manager, I am up for the job!

My username is probably obvious.  tongue

We should probably make normal members be unable to post anything. That way it "complies" with the user-made site rules.  smile

Sorry, I have been busy creating some headers for the ScratchBB website. (I thought it would be suitable, since it can have more features than sourceforge (hopefully) )

I know a host that is perfect for me.

I hate 000webhost.

BTW, Thanks, blue is quite good.

Re: Scratch Forum Development Thread

http://cixx6.com/ seems to be really good if we are really looking for hosts. I've been using it, but I haven't done any technical stuff, so I don't know how reliable it is. But the disk space and bandwidth are pretty nice for a free host.

I saw that. When I looked at the site, it looked like you had to pay.  hmm

EDIT: I edited my post to place an emphasis on "is".

It is free, but the site is hard to get around and the staff don't respond nor are they very helpful. So basically, if we use that service, we are on our own.  hmm

"Hard to get around and the staff ... are [not] very helpful." Sounds like the registar I bought my domain from. D:
I can easily get a free 000 domain and give out the FTP details... all you need is an FTP client program such as FileZilla (what I use).

I can do the same with Cixx6 (and get each of us FTP accounts and give those out individually).

But before we go getting hosts, we should at least make a decent setup first and do some more planning.

Lets make some mock-ups (in HTML or in an image) of what we want everything to look like.
