Scratchnet: The Framework for a More Connected 2.0

Scratch 2.0: the highly anticipated release that will bring a wide range of updates. One of the rumored releases is known as "meshs," a protocol that allows projects to communicate over the Internet. This is disabled by default, but it is possible to enable the feature in Scratch 1.4.
Scratchnet is a project to lay the foundation for all Internet programs to come, creating a protocol for projects to speak with each other.
Are you interested in helping the project? We need beta testers and are accepting developers.

Note that while I am a new scratcher, I do have lots of experience in scratch.

Sure! So far I am away from my main computer  (Christmas Vacation) but I should be able to get some good coding done after.
