Title: Instant Egg Soup
Meal Type: Soup
Difficulty: Beginner
Author: Sparks
Ingredients:
(serves one person)
1 Egg
0.5 Litres (2.5 U.S cups) of water
1 heaped tablespoon or one cube of stock (I recommend vegetable stock)
1 small saucepan
1 fork
1 cup
Steps:
Put the water into a small saucepan and bring to the boil. Use a heat setting that allows the water to boil without the water boiling over. While this heats up, add your stock and whisk your egg in the cup using the fork. You want to whisk it until scooping the mixture up with the fork no longer reveals gloopy bits. Once the water reaches boiling point, stir the soup in a circle and slowly pour in the whisked egg, creating eggy strands. Add peas, herbs, seasoning to taste and enjoy.

I liked to go to this place called Dexter's which had amazing ribs, which is this American-style restaurant which my family went to until I was 5 (long time bro.) when it shut down. Now there is a savory pancake place there. Oh.

Title:French Apple Tart
Meal Type: Cake/Pastry
Difficulty:
Medium
Author:
Tkrandomness
Ingredients:
1 cup Flour and extra for rolling dough
3/8 cup Crisco Vegetable Shortening
1/2 tsp salt
2.5 T. or 3 T. Water
2 Apples
Brown Sugar (NO EXACT AMOUNT)
Butter (NO EXACT AMOUNT)
White Sugar (OPTIONAL)
Cinnamon (NO EXACT AMOUNT)
Steps:
1.Place a few slices of butter in a pan and place it on a burner on a low temperature. Let the butter begin to melt, and then add as much cinnamon and brown sugar as wanted. Stir together.
2.Using a knife and cutting board, peel the apples and then remove the cores. Cube the apples and then add to pan.
3.In a large bowl (DO NOT USE ELECTRIC MIXER AND DO NOT MASH) mix vegetable shortening, salt and flour.
4.Make sure not to burn the butter. Once the apples having been cooking for a little while, move pan off of burner and turn off the burner.
5.Slowly add 1 T. of water to the dough and and carefully use a pastry blender to mix. Continue to add water and mix until dough begins to form pea size pieces. Do not exceed 3 T.!
6.Seperate dough into two halves and place one on a board covered in flour. Make sure to get flour on both sides. Use a roller to roll the dough into a thin circle.
7.(YOU CAN MAKE IT DIFFERENTLY IF YOU WANT, BUT BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR DESIGN)Place on metal baking tray and place half of your apple mixture into the center.Begin to pull each corner forward and form into a square covering the apples except in a small area in the center. Pull two opposite corners to the center on the edge of the hole. Roll the edges of those two pieces up to form a tube without air inside.make sure then to seal it tightly so no apples can get out. Take the remaing two corners and do the same without rolling up the edges. Make sure everything is sealed except the small center area.
8.Repeat with the other half of dough and apples.
9.Place the two on the metal baking pan where they'll both have enough room to bake. Brush with water and sprinkle on sugar (OPTIONAL) and cinnamon. Place in oven at 350 degrees farenheit. Cook until light golen brown.
10.Enjoy!
