60 seconds

Why do I have to wait 60 seconds between posts? It really annoys me. I think it's spam, but I'm not sure.

You're right. It was made to prevent spammers from quickly filling the forums with spam.
(Well, don't forget us who have to wait 180 seconds.  tongue  )

It's designed as a spam-repellant, pretty much.

Only Moderators, Admins and the Scratch Team (perhaps at MIT) can bypass this rule.

You guessed correctly, It is to prevent spam. Too bad New Scratchers have to wait 180 though.  hmm
But i'm not going to complain, least I get to post.
