Giving, not getting.

Too true.
It annoys me how many people there are that look forward to Christmas simply because they want presents. Sure, presents make it better, but it's more about giving, and seeing family who you don't often see etc. smile

But as always, A parent's presence is lot better than a parent's presents.

I told her that I got her the wrong CD, when I got the SPECIAL EDITION of the one she wanted. She will be so suprised!

While I do enjoy getting presents, I love getting together with my family. But, I have no family to do so with this year. My father devorced my mother, and I now live with my mother and sister. My grandfather and great grandmother died this year, and my oldest uncle has an un-treatable cancer in his leg.

So, yeah, not much family left.

Every year, each classroom in our school picks a poor kid out and raises money for them. Being that, all schools combined, we have about 120 classrooms. That's 120 kids we help, along with the rest of their family.

So, I give, as well as get.

I'm not celebrating with much family this year.
Y'see, Christmas Dinner with the family fell apart (My favorite cousins' fault!) and so we had a small Christmas dinner at an Indonesian restaraunt with a few extended family members.
Christmas day I'm going to my dad's after he comes over here for Christmas dinner Christmas eve.

My dad hates his side of the family. He's the black sheep.

I don't have any money to spend (Blew it all on albums and other cheap thrills) so I'm stuck painting, drawing, sculpting, and otherwise crafting all of my gifts
