I don't think PIPA will pass but SOPA might if the members of congress don't have common sense about the internet. Our country has worked very hard to get the internet like it is today and they are going to destroy everything we have done. It's terrible.

No offense to anyone American (I don't want to start another war tongue ) but the US government can be really sensitive when it comes to issues like this and I think they should just take a break from declaring war, suing people and censoring needlessly.

Hey guys, I have some very, very good news:

SOPA and PIPA have been dropped by Congress today.

There's a chance they might come back in some other form, but for now, we can celebrate that the voting for SOPA and PIPA have been cancelled. big_smile

The reason the entertainment companies thought SOPA and PIPA would pass in the first place is because they thought they could pass them without anyone noticing. It's a good thing they were wrong... Very wrong.
